NAD+

Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide (NAD+) is a vital coenzyme found in every cell that plays a crucial role in energy production, DNA repair, and cellular metabolism.

Also known as: Essential Cellular Coenzyme, Anti-Aging Therapy

Typical Dose 100-250mg
Storage Refrigerate reconstituted; store lyophilized powder away from light
How Often 1-2x weekly

Overview

Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide (NAD+) is a vital coenzyme found in every cell that plays a crucial role in energy production, DNA repair, and cellular metabolism. As NAD+ levels naturally decline with age, supplementation can support cellular health, boost energy, enhance cognitive function, and promote longevity.

Key Benefits

  • Cellular Energy Production
  • Metabolic Optimization
  • Exercise Performance

Highest bioavailability (100%), rapid cellular uptake, immediate energy enhancement, bypasses digestive limitations

Mechanism of Action

Direct delivery to bloodstream ensures maximum cellular availability for energy production, DNA repair, and sirtuin activation

Pharmacokinetics

Peak plasma concentration: 30 min. Elimination half-life: 45 min. Largely cleared by: ~3.8 hrs.

Peptide Interactions

  • BPC-157 — Synergistic: Combined protocols enhance cellular repair and energy production
  • TB-500 — Synergistic: Complementary effects on tissue regeneration and mitochondrial function
  • Tirzepatide — Compatible: NAD+ supports metabolic pathways enhanced by GLP-1 agonists
  • Ipamorelin — Synergistic: Growth hormone pathways benefit from improved cellular energy metabolism
  • CJC-1295 — Compatible: Enhanced recovery and anti-aging effects when combined
  • Alcohol — Avoid Combination: Alcohol consumption significantly reduces NAD+ levels and effectiveness
  • L-Carnitine — Synergistic: Both support mitochondrial function - NAD+ in electron transport chain, L-Carnitine in fatty acid transport for beta-oxidation

Peptide Instructions Injectable

Supplies:

  • NAD+ powder vial
  • Bacteriostatic water
  • 3ml syringe
  • 25G needle for drawing
  • 30G insulin needle for injection
  • Alcohol swabs

How to Reconstitute Injectable

  1. 1Clean work surface and wash hands thoroughly
  2. 2Wipe tops of both vials with alcohol swabs
  3. 3Draw appropriate amount of bacteriostatic water (typically 2-3ml for 500mg vial)
  4. 4Inject water slowly into NAD+ vial, aiming at the glass wall
  5. 5Gently swirl (do not shake) until completely dissolved - may take 2-3 minutes
  6. 6Draw prescribed dose using fresh needle
  7. 7Inject at chosen site (IM: deltoid, glute, or thigh; SubQ: abdomen or thigh)
  8. 8Dispose of needles safely and store remaining solution refrigerated

What to Expect Injectable

Week 1-2: Initial energy improvements and mental clarity. Week 3-4: Enhanced physical performance and recovery. Week 5-8: Sustained energy levels and improved sleep quality. Week 9-12: Optimized metabolic function and cognitive benefits.

Side Effects & Safety

Start with lower doses to assess tolerance. IV administration requires medical supervision. Monitor for injection site reactions. Avoid alcohol consumption during treatment. Maintain consistent dosing schedule for best results.
